The turbocharger comes with 1 year warranty as long as you replace the Oil and Oil filter every 7500 miles with a geniuine MINI oil filter or Mahle equilivent, also the oil feed pipe and all associted bolts and O rings must be replaced with geniuine MINI parts, some turbo failures are due to the oil pipe feed blocking starving the turbo of oil.
