RAFMSA Rockingham
We managed to make the last race of the day today to meet Brian Watson who has sent his car to us twice but we actually have never seen him in person and as Rockingham is about 30 miles from 1320's HQ, it seemed rude not to.

We loved the diversty off cars in this class...and like the format that it wasn't door to door even though it looked it at the first corner :) they score points on how near they are to there qualifying time, Its nice to see active and retired serviceman having so much fun with there cars and its obvious that there're going to be a lot of petrolheads in the RAF............ http://www.raf.mod.uk/rafmotorsports/

Brian Watson's Cooper S now sporting ist RAF Benevolent Fund & Kuhmo tyre sponsorship.....Todays best time 1.43.897

Euro Sport Compact Round 2, Santa Pod
We entered the Street Car Nationals at Santa Pod with the main aim of, making a list of things to do or to take with us for the Main Event at the end of the month, luckly we did as the list is very long.

Euro Sport Compact is now racing under MSA rules for the first time.......which means you have to weigh your car after qualifying and each race.......usually this is just a formality, I was against the No1 qualifier James Hoddeson who runs consitant 10s in his VW Golf.......well for whatever reason James was under weight for 2 power adders of 1050kg by a measley 3kg, which ment that we went through to the final.

We lost in the final to Paul Bargate in his VW Scirroco who was also having problems meeting the weight requirements for his combination of being natually aspirated with 1 power adder (nitrous), we had to sell Paul 20 litres of fuel to get his car over weight, usually he runs 1 gallon in his stock tank.

We were happy though that in the final that Old Man Webster actually netted his best ever reaction time in the MINI of .002, we put this massive improvement to the new M&H Slicks and the new K Sport suspension we're testing.........the only problem is he needs those lights consistantly at the end of the month to have any chance of going any rounds at the Main Event in Super Street....oh and consitant 10.900s.

1320 & O'Dwyer Racing at Cadwell MLR test day
We got here at about 13.00 and signed on for a 2 hr test session from 15.00-17.00, weather was nice and dry so things were looking good.

Richard went out at 14.55 and someones engine / turbo let go in a big way in front of him so Red Flag everyone in and a 15 min delay, you've guessed it as they went out the rain started.........Richard managed a 1.53 in traffic and with a mediumn drizzle.
