The Sprintex Supercharger upgrade is now available in the UK exclusively from 1320 MINI for the R52/R53 BMW MINI Cooper S.
Manufactured to ISO9001 standards, the Sprintex upgrade reliably increases both power and torque, as well as providing much greater tuning potential than the standard BMW MINI Cooper S Eaton M45 supercharger - which was specified by BMW to deliver 163 bhp.
Designed as a complete, thoroughly engineered, direct replacement bolt-on performance tuning package, the Sprintex Supercharger for the BMW R52 / R53 MINI Cooper S offers an unbeatable combination of efficiency, reliability and high quality engineering. Central to the Sprintex upgrade is an ultra efficient S5-210 screw style compressor which features a much great flow potential than the stock Eaton M45, enabling it to run cooler than the standard supercharger at equivalent boost levels and provide a corrrespondingly denser air charge. This allows the Sprintex to produce more power and torque than the standard R53 Eaton M45 supercharger at the same boost level.
Indeed, with the standard supplied Sprintex supercharger pulley, dyno testing has shown that power increases from 162 to 197 bhp at the wheels, with torque jumping from 142lb.ft to 169lb.ft.
For R52 / R53 MINI Cooper S owners wanting even more power, 1320 has already proven the Sprintex Supercharger's additional flow potential when used in conjunction with other engine upgrades (cam, injectors, flowed cylinder head etc) on our 'Old Red' Cooper S, which produces a consistent 270 bhp / 209 lb.ft at the wheels!
